One of the most successful ships in US history is now one of the most unique attractions in New York City. Berthed on the mighty Hudson River by Pier 86 on the west side, the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum boasts educational exhibits and exciting events. It showcases the World War II aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler, the destroyer USS Edson, and a Concorde supersonic airplane. The museum also serves as a host for the annual Fleet Week events.
