| A stroll through Battery Park City can be a very satisfying experience. Within just a few blocks, you can sit and relax in a lush green garden, check out nearly two dozen public-art installations, cool off, or warm up at one of four diverse museums, and dine - in some cases just a few feet from the Hudson River. Battery Park City is an urban oasis at the tip of Manhattan. There are tree-lined streets, a yacht basin, and a 1.2 mile-long esplanade along the Hudson River. Currently there are eleven condominium and eight rental buildings, including nearly two thousand recent apartments that have been or will be built. |

| A welcome addition to Battery Park City is the recent opening of an Embassy Suites hotel complex, featuring a sixteen-screen multiplex cinema with stadium seating. South of Battery Park City is Battery Park, which is the departure point for the Staten Island Ferry and tourists traveling to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. |
